I am a sixth-year Ph.D. student in mathematics at Louisiana State University. I am currently studying under the supervision of James Oxley. My research focuses on graph theory and matroid theory. An introduction to matroids can be found in the short paper, "Briefly what is a matroid?" by James Oxley. My CV can be found here. My email address is jdouth5 [at] lsu [dot] edu. My preferred name is Dylan.
Prior to starting at LSU, I complete a Master's Degree under the supervision of Anton Dochtermann at Texas State University. My master's thesis, "Chip-firing on graphs: stability, the dollar game, and the Tutte polynomial" is available through the Texas State University library.
